santa!!!!!

Caleb went to see Santa yesterday! He was so excited. He ran right up to him, yelling "Santa, Santa!" It was so cute. He didn't want to look at the camera. He just kept looking at Santa.
I got a little Christmas shopping done yesterday and set up an appointment at Sears to get pics done of Caleb and Faith.
It is freezing outside and I am not a fan of brushing snow of the car and scraping windshields while the car has to run for 15 minutes. Yesterday I was a trooper though and even did
my sister-in-laws car for her.
Well I need to get Caleb some breakfast.
Here are a couple more pics of Faith from a few days ago.

a new addition

Well it's been a very crazy week. I have been so sick!!! Wednesday was probably one of the worst I have every felt. I couldn't even move I was so sick! I am much better now...just a hacking cough and a nasty coldsore. (I won't post any pics of it, don't worry)
My dad, Caleb and I drove up to Sudbury on Friday. I wanted to be up here for when Mike and Melissa had their baby.
Well it was perfect timing.
Tonight, Saturday November 24th at 6:49pm my little niece,
Faith came into the world!
She is 6lbs 13 oz. and is 20.5 inches.
I was able to see her when she was a little over an hour old...what a precious baby.
She's very sweet. Here are some pics...there will be more soon:)
PS-Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!!

baking 123

Part Two
Well there wasn't as much drama when frosting the cupcakes...
a little at first but we managed.

I still cannot believe how fast Caleb ate the whole cupcake!!!

There was no attempt to clean him up afterwards...
the only solution was a bath.

I should have got a before and after picture of the bath water.

It's been a busy morning for both of us. Soon it will be Caleb's naptime and I have the privilege of cleaning up the kitchen:) It's a good thing that I like the smell of Pinesol.
Well have a great day!!!

baking abc

Part One
Well it has already been a pretty eventful morning. After breakfast, Caleb and I attempted to make some chocolate cupcakes...
What fun!!!!
He was such a good helper, stirring and pouring the ingredients. He put all the liners in the pan and I poured the batter in...while he dipped his fingers and then whole hand into it!

He got really upset when it was time to put the
cupcakes into the oven. (see video)
Right now the cupcakes are baking...then after they cool we will
frost them and put on sprinkles so stay tuned for part two...

here comes santa claus

Today was Hamilton's Santa Claus Parade. Caleb, my dad and I went out in the frigid ccccold to see "SANTA"!!!!
Caleb had a blast! I don't think he knew what was going on with all the marching bands and people giving him candy....kinda like Halloween but they were dressed up and it was really loud.
Well, it was no Macy's Parade but Caleb didn't seem to mind...he loved watching the parade and was so excited to know that Santa was coming. He loved the miniature horses and all the dogs.
It was so cold but a lot of fun. We snuggled under a blanket and watched the parade while my dad chickened out and stayed in the car most of the time.
Anyway, I am still cold and so very tired. Enjoy the pics!
Good night!
